Melissa Toulios, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, Aesthetic Nure Injector

Melissa has been a practicing Family Nurse Practitioner for 14 years in the Berwyn area and was granted her Full Practice Authority in 2022. There she developed her skills in Primary Care, Immediate Care and Aesthetics. Melissa received her BSN in 2004 and then her MSN, in 2010, at St. Xavier University. Following graduation, she received her Family Nurse Practitioner certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Prior to her becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, she worked in a Cardiac ICU in Oak Lawn, IL. There she developed critical skills that inspired her growth on the clinical side of advanced nursing practice. Melissa received her training and certificate in Aesthetics in 2021. In May of 2023, Melissa obtained her doctorate in nursing practice from Valparaiso University. Dr. Toulios was recently invited to present her DNP project at the Diabetes UK Professional Conference 2023 in Liverpool. Her aspirations for aesthetics have become her passion. She enjoys working with people and ensuring that each of her client’s aesthetic goals are met. Melissa lives in Mokena with her husband, her 3 beautiful children and their dog, Daphne. She enjoys traveling, weight training, Pilates and going on daily walks. Her children are involved in various athletic activities. During the weekends you can count on finding Melissa cheering her son or her daughters while they are competing in their game(s).
